Solstice Farms on Hansen Road in Loomis is a small family-run citrus farm that opens its pumpkin patch in the evenings each October. Pumpkin Patch After Dark runs Thursday through Sunday, 5 to 9 PM, with pumpkins, firepits, cornhole, a scavenger hunt and pumpkin carving.
Is it free to get in?
Yes, admission to the pumpkin patch is free, and most nights you do not need a reservation. Some nights sell out and are reservation only, and those dates are listed on the farm's website.
Can we reserve a firepit?
Yes. A private firepit table holds up to 6 guests, and each guest picks out a pumpkin. Your group also gets a box of s'mores supplies.
Is there food, and can we bring our own?
Hot cider, hot chocolate, cotton candy, popcorn and snacks are sold, and you are welcome to bring your own food to eat by the fire. You can also walk through the organic citrus orchard and visit the rescue goats.
Where do we park?
Park on Horseshoe Bar Road. When the main lot fills, overflow parking is across the small bridge on Hansen Road, and everyone walks back to the main entrance on Horseshoe Bar Road.
