About Sundowner Ranch

Sundowner Ranch is a 160-acre family ranch at the base of the mountains in Lucerne Valley, owned by the same family for over 45 years. Its October pumpkin patch opens on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

When is the pumpkin patch open?

Saturdays from noon to 6 PM through October 24 and Sundays from 2 to 6 PM through October 25. It also opens on Columbus Day, Monday, October 12, from noon to 6 PM. Other weekdays it is closed.

What does it cost?

Entry to the patch is free. The corn maze, hay ride, trackless train ride, corn play box and bounce house are $4 per person, and pumpkins are extra. Cash and cards are both accepted.

What will the kids do?

The corn maze doubles as a themed scavenger hunt, and the train rolls through the sunflowers and into the gourd tunnels. At Critter Corner kids can pet and feed mini donkeys, baby doll sheep, Pumpkin the Pig, ducks and chickens, and pig races are new for 2026.

Is there anything to sign?

Yes. Everyone must sign a waiver to take part in the corn maze, pig races, train ride, hay ride, corn play box and bounce house.
