Bishop's Pumpkin Farm on Pumpkin Lane in Wheatland has grown pumpkins since 1973 and is in its 54th harvest. For 2026 it is open every day from September 4 through November 15.
What are the October hours?
Through October 30, Monday to Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM, Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 8:30 PM. Hours are shorter on Halloween and in November.
What is there for kids?
A big u-pick pumpkin field reached by a free hay ride, the Weeland Petting Zoo (feed costs extra), a train ride around the grounds, a corn maze and a carousel.
Can we bring the dog?
Not during most of the season. The farm has a no-pet policy, except for Dog Dayz on the final Saturday and Sunday of the season in November, when pups are welcome.
What should we eat?
Options include pumpkin apple muffins, corn dogs with garlic fries, warm chocolate chip cookies and Slushakies from the Cider Mill, with a country bakery on the way out. Cards and phone pay are accepted.
