Fort Cross Old Timey Adventures is a 12-acre family farm on Highway 78 in Santa Ysabel, near Julian, built around hands-on outdoor history. Its fall festival, the Julian Autumn Jubilee, runs Saturdays and Sundays from September 26 through October 25, 2026.
What are the festival hours?
Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM. It is closed on weekdays.
Is the haunted hayride okay for kids?
On special October evenings the farm runs a Haunted Harvest Hayride with jug band music, a hoedown and ghost stories. Part of the ride means getting off and walking through dark woods, and the farm says some kids love it while others get scared and cry. It costs $30 a person, needs a prepaid reservation and a signed waiver, and pets are not allowed.
Who runs the farm?
Jesse and Doreen Cross. Jesse started in living history around 2000, and the couple opened at this property in 2016, where 5 acres are planted in lilacs.
