Cody's Farm & Orchard on River Road in Marengo grows its own apples and pumpkins, and its farm market is open every day from 10 AM to 6 PM. Pumpkin season runs on October weekends plus Columbus Day, and apple u-pick is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM.
What does a pumpkin day cost?
Admission, parking and hayrides out to the patch are free, and pumpkins from the patch are $9 each, any size. A $7 wristband, needed for everyone over 2 who enters the play area, covers the 5-acre corn maze, barrel rides, duck races and pedal tractors. The corn box and play tractor are free.
How often do the hayrides go?
Once an hour, starting at 10:30 AM, with the last ride around 4:30 PM.
Are there special days in October?
Marengo Settlers' Days runs October 9 to 12, and the Autumn Drive with craft vendors and weekend live music is October 16 to 18. On Saturday, October 31, kids in costume can trick or treat for an apple cider donut from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Can we bring the dog?
No. Only service dogs are allowed, and the whole property is smoke and vape free.
