Carter Haunted Hayrides

Carter Brothers Haunted Hayrides on South Sherman Boulevard in Springfield is celebrating its 43rd year. In 2026 it runs every Friday and Saturday night from October 2 through October 31, from 7 to 11 PM.

How much is it?

$15 a person, cash only, with no refunds. Bring cash, since there is no card option.

Is there a version for younger kids?

Yes. Kids Day is Saturday, October 24 from 1 to 4 PM, when the daytime hayride is $5 for kids and $10 for adults. The farm describes its night rides as a family event for all ages, but the daytime ride is the gentler choice for little ones.
