About Wiard's Orchards & Country Fair

Wiard's Orchards on Merritt Road in Ypsilanti calls itself Michigan's oldest continually family-owned orchard, going back to 1837. Its Country Store opened Tuesday, September 8, and the weekend Country Fair started Saturday, September 12.

When is the Country Fair open?

Wednesday through Sunday, 11 AM to 6 PM. The Country Store opens at 9 AM Tuesday through Sunday. Both are closed Mondays, and November hours vary, so call ahead late in the season.

How much are tickets?

Weekday tickets (Wednesday to Friday) are $18 a person, bought online only, and babies 23 months and under are free. A season pass is $46. Parking is free, and you do not need a ticket to shop in the Country Store.

What is included with the fair?

Wagon rides, a corn maze, putt putt golf, bounce houses, playgrounds and animal feeding. The u-pick apples and pumpkins are inside the fair, and you pay for your pumpkin at the exit barn.

Are there events this month?

A free craft show is October 3 and 4 in the store lot, and October 17 and 18 brings discounted admission for first responders and military. On Saturday, October 31 there is a Halloween 5K, 10K and Cider Mill Mile. The haunted attraction, Night Terrors, is ticketed separately.
