Almar Orchards Organic

Almar Orchards in Flushing is a family farm of 300 acres, half of it organic apple and pear orchards, with a farm store that is open all year. In the fall it runs hayrides through the orchards on weekends.

When are the hayrides?

Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 PM, weather permitting. They started September 12 and run until about Halloween.

What are the store hours?

In the fall the farm store is open Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM.

What will we find there?

Organic apples, honey, maple syrup and fresh donuts, plus a playground. The farm also makes hard cider and offers tastings, so the taproom side is for adults.
