Giamarese Farm and Orchards in East Brunswick has been family-owned since 1941. Its Fall Harvest Weekends began Saturday, September 19, and in October the farm is open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday.
What does admission include?
For $15 a person you get parking, a picking pass for apples, pumpkins and vegetables, a hayride tour, the corn maze as many times as you like, and 2 sunflowers or 1 sugar pumpkin. Anything you pick is paid for separately, and children 3 feet and under are free.
Can we just come to pick?
Yes. Pick-your-own-only admission is $3 a person Tuesday through Friday. Apples were being picked this fall, and the farm asks you to call (732) 821-9494 first because what is ready can change daily.
What are the hours?
The farm market is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and closed Mondays. Arrive well before closing if you want to pick, since admissions stop in the late afternoon.
Can we bring our dog?
No. Pets are not allowed on the farm. Pony rides, farm animals and food vendors are part of the fall weekends, and pony ride tickets are sold on site.
