Pennings Orchard on Route 94 in Warwick is a family apple orchard with more than 15 apple varieties. Fall activities started September 5, and the farm is open every day from 9 AM to 5 PM during the picking season.
Are there apples to pick this year?
A late frost took most of the 2026 crop, but the farm is still open for picking what survived. It also has New York grown apples in crates and bins in the orchard to help fill your bag.
What else is there for kids?
The farm lists pumpkin picking, a corn maze, hayrides, farm animals including goats, turkeys, chickens and ducks, play areas and donuts. You can bring a picnic and eat on the west side of the farm.
Can we bring our dog?
Friendly, leashed dogs are allowed in the west picking areas, but not near the animals, barns, play areas or food areas. The market, ice cream parlor, beer garden and cidery on the east side are run independently, and pets and outside food are not allowed there.
