Soukup Farms on Halls Corners Road in Dover Plains is a family maple syrup farm that has tapped trees since 1955. Its 12th annual Harvest Festival runs the first four weekends of October, from Saturday, October 3 through Sunday, October 25, plus Columbus Day, October 12.
What are the festival hours?
Saturdays 11 AM to 5 PM, and Sundays and Columbus Day 11 AM to 4 PM. The kitchen closes half an hour before the end of the day.
Is there an admission fee?
No, entry to the farm is free, and the hayrides are free too. They leave roughly every 15 to 20 minutes and end at the pick-your-own pumpkin patch.
How much is the corn maze?
Wristbands are sold in the farm store: $6.00 for ages 3 to 10, $8.00 for ages 10 and over, and free under 3. Children under 10 must go in with an adult, and good shoes help.
Can we bring our dog?
No. No pets of any kind are allowed anywhere on the property, except ADA service animals.
