Old McDonald's Farm on County Road 145 in Sackets Harbor is a hands-on family farm founded in 1986, with hundreds of animals, a cafe and homemade ice cream. Its u-pick pumpkin patch opened on Saturday, September 26, and the farm closes for the winter on Halloween.
What do kids do in the fall?
The fall program includes picking a pumpkin in the patch, a 14-acre corn maze, a hayride and warm homemade cider donuts. Kids can also feed the cows, walk among the goats and see mini highland cows.
What are the hours?
Wednesday to Friday 10 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, but open on Columbus Day, October 12.
