The Great Pumpkin Farm on Main Street in Clarence holds its Fall Festival every weekend from September 19 through October 31, with more than 40 attractions. It is open 10 AM to 7 PM every day of the season.
Do weekdays cost anything?
No. Weekdays are free for the whole family, with select attractions open. Festival weekends need a paid ticket, and seniors 65 and up pay $18 at the gate with ID.
What do kids do on festival weekends?
Hayrides, a hill slide, train rides, pedal karts, a haymaze for little ones, an indoor playground that runs rain or shine, the Boo Barn with its vortex tunnel, magic and bubble shows and a reptile show. The 5-acre corn maze, apple cannons, the pumpkin cannon, jumping pillows and gem panning cost extra.
Is there a special day to plan around?
The World Pumpkin Weigh-Off is on Saturday, October 3. Costume contests run on the final weekend, and kids under 12 can join a pie-eating contest at noon every festival weekend.
What is there to eat?
The bakery makes pies, cookies and pumpkin and apple donuts, with hot or cold cider, cider slushies and cider floats. Festival food includes tacos, pizza, popcorn, candy apples and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
