Kleather's Pumpkin Patch on West Central Avenue in Springboro started off the back of a pickup truck in 1976 and is still run by the Kleather family. It is open every day from Labor Day weekend until Halloween.
Is there an admission fee?
No. Admission is free, and you pay for pumpkins and other items inside the barn. Carving pumpkins are priced by weight, while giants, pie pumpkins and minis are priced each.
What are the hours?
Seven days a week, 10 AM to 7 PM. On Halloween it closes at 4 PM so the family can take their own kids out.
Are there hayrides or a corn maze?
No. The patch is in the middle of Springboro and does not have the room for either. Instead there is a pumpkin carriage, a stationary train, an antique tractor and chickens to spot, and Amish donuts arrive Friday evening through Sunday.
