About Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres
Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres is a Halloween attraction on the 230-acre Gunser family farm on Highland Road in Newtown, running since 1990. It opened for 2026 on Saturday, September 26.
What are the attractions?
There are three: a haunted hayride on a mile and a quarter trip through dark woods and fields, the Field of Fright, and the House in the Hollow, a haunted house run by a local theatre and special effects company.
Can we bring our own snacks?
Yes. Refreshments are sold, or you can bring your own, but no alcohol is allowed under the family-friendly policy.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If a night is called off because of weather or wet fields, ticket holders get a message about how to reschedule. Call (267) 517-1771 with questions.
