Cheeseman Farm on Kennedy Road in Portersville runs two fall attractions: the Cheeseman Pumpkin Festival by day and the Cheeseman Fright Farm at night. Fright Farm opened Friday, September 18, 2026, and runs through Halloween.
When is the Pumpkin Festival?
Saturdays and Sundays in October from 11 AM to 5 PM, weather permitting, ending October 31. Be at the barn by 4:45 PM for the last ride to the pumpkin patch.
What does the hayride cost?
The hayride is $5 a person, and children 2 and under ride free with an adult. Pumpkins are weighed back at the barn and cost 50 cents a pound. Festival tickets are sold in person at Betsy's Barn, and the festival serves hot cider and freshly baked donuts.
How much is Fright Farm?
Tickets are $25 in person at Betsy's Barn, with a card fee if you do not pay cash. A Save a Spot pass is $35, and a limited number of Fright Fast Passes sell in person for $55. The night wagon ride heads into dark woods and unloads at a haunted corn maze, and there is wood-fired pizza back at the barn.
