Family Farms is a five-generation farm on County Road 203 in Plantersville, about an hour from Houston, with u-pick produce, a farm market and a pumpkin season in the fall. For 2026 it opened daily starting late September, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
How much is entry?
Entry is $5, and kids under 2 get in free. It includes the farm activities, such as hayrides, animal encounters and games.
Is there a special fall event?
Yes. The Pumpkin Festival is on Saturday, October 10, with a full day of pumpkin picking, live music and fall fun.
What else is there?
A kids' playground, picnic tables in the shade and a farm market with produce, local honey and handmade jams. The farm is non-smoking and alcohol-free. Check its social pages for weather closures.
