Pecan Creek Farm & Ranch on Door Key Road in San Angelo is a family farm founded in 2017 that opens to the public each fall. Opening day for 2026 is Saturday, October 3, and it stays open on weekends through Thanksgiving weekend.
What are the hours?
Saturdays 10 AM to 8 PM and Sundays noon to 6 PM. It is closed on weekdays to the public, though field trips and birthday parties can be booked.
What is there for kids?
A corn maze, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, the Ag Playground, a corn cannon, chick hatching displays and a root cellar to explore. Most families stay one to three hours.
Should we bring food, and can pets come?
Food and drink availability varies, so the farm suggests bringing what you need. Outside pets are typically not allowed. The ground is uneven in places, so call ahead about accessibility needs.
