Nash Ranch Pumpkin Patch

Nash Ranch on Old Oregon Trail in Redding grows over 30 varieties of pumpkins, winter squash and gourds on a 20-acre patch for picking your own. It is open every day through Sunday, November 1.

What are the hours?

Weekdays from 11 AM and weekends from 10 AM. It closes at 6 PM Sunday through Thursday and at 11 PM on Friday and Saturday, though only the corn maze stays open after 6 PM.

What happens on October weekends?

The Pumpkin Patch Festival runs every weekend in October with a farm animal petting zoo, a hay maze, an air pillow obstacle course and slide, a train ride, food booths, popcorn and snow cones. Most vendors come only on weekends, and a craft faire runs Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM.

How big is the corn maze?

About 8 acres of corn with over 3 miles of trails, so expect to get a little lost. On Friday and Saturday nights it becomes a haunted maze.

Is the haunted house okay for young kids?

The Dreams of Darkness haunted house runs Friday and Saturday nights and opens for 2026 on Friday, October 2. The ranch describes it as full of scares, so it is best for older kids.
