Mickelson Pumpkin Patch sits on Redwood Highway South just outside Petaluma. It opened for 2026 on Saturday, September 19, and is open every day until Halloween.
What are the hours?
Sunday through Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM, and Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 10 PM, so a weekend evening visit is possible.
What is there for kids to do?
A multi-car tractor ride called the Grain Train loops the whole property, there is an air-powered apple cannon, a one-acre hay maze, corn pits, farm animals and lawn games. The jump zone has one area for ages 2 to 5 and another for ages 3 to 13.
Can we bring food or the dog?
No outside food or drink is allowed, but an on-site vendor sells food and drinks every day. Dogs are not allowed, except service dogs.
Is it dusty?
It can be. The farm warns the patch gets dusty, and muddy after a lot of rain, so wear shoes that can get dirty.
