Muelrath Ranches is a family-owned pumpkin farm on Walker Avenue in Santa Rosa, where the family has grown pumpkins, gourds, squash and sunflowers since 1946. For 2026 it is open daily from September 26 through October 31, 10 AM to 6 PM.
Does it cost anything to get in?
No. A day at the patch is free with a pumpkin purchase, and there are more than 20 varieties to choose from, including heritage pie pumpkins new this year.
What will the kids do?
Climb the hay pyramid, crawl through the hay tunnel to the haunted dungeon, try the toddler corn maze and ride a narrated hay ride that explains the farm. There is also a picnic area, and water, soda and cider are for sale.
Can we bring the dog?
No. It is a working farm and dogs are not allowed.
Is there anything special on a weekend?
On October 17 and 18, from 2 PM, a local club exhibits antique tractors and engines at the farm.
