Honey Hill Orchard on Waterman Road is a family apple orchard with 25 varieties of apples and an 1880s barn turned into a store and bakery. It is open daily from 9 AM to 5:30 PM through Halloween.
Do we pay to get in?
No, admission and parking are free, and so are the sunflower patch and the children's play area with a petting zoo and straw maze. To ride a wagon and go into the picking areas, everyone over 2 buys a picking bag: $13 for a quarter peck, or $35 for a peck shared by up to three people. U-pick is cash only.
When can we pick pumpkins?
U-pick pumpkins start Friday, October 2. Wagons to the orchard and pumpkin patch run on weekends only, weather permitting, and October 16 to 18 is Pumpkin Harvest Weekend with special pumpkin prices and pumpkin donuts.
What about food and pets?
The bakery sells apple cider donuts, raw apple cider, caramel apples and pies, and food trucks come on weekends. The donut fryer shuts at 4:30, so get donuts early. Outside food and pets are not allowed.
