Corn Cob Acres on College Avenue in Mountville is a fall play farm with more than 50 activities, started in 2009 by the same brothers who created the Field of Screams haunt. The 2026 season runs from Saturday, September 12 to Sunday, November 8.
What days and hours is it open?
Saturdays 10 AM to 5 PM and Sundays 11 AM to 5 PM, plus Fridays in October from 10 AM to 5 PM and Columbus Day, Monday, October 12. Last admission is at 4 PM.
What ages is it best for?
It is geared to children ages 2 to 12. The Grain Chute Mega Slide needs riders to be at least 4 years old and between 40 and 80 inches tall.
What costs extra beyond admission?
Admission covers unlimited play on the free activities. Gemstone mining, the corn cannon blasters and the bungee trampolines cost extra, and pumpkins are sold by the pound. Buy a pumpkin and you can paint it for free.
What happens if it rains?
Everything is outdoors, so the farm decides whether to open based on the weather and posts alerts at the top of its home page. Cash and cards are both accepted.
