Kauffman Orchards is a family orchard and market in Amish Country near Ronks, harvesting apples since 1915. Its 2026 pick-your-own apple days are ticketed, and two remain: October 3 and October 25, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Do we need a ticket for u-pick?
Yes, apple picking is by ticket only. The u-pick area is about half a mile from the main market, on South Weavertown Road.
Are there fall events?
The 3rd Annual Apple Festival is Saturday, October 17, with kids' activities, a corn maze, apple and pumpkin picking, rides, food trucks and cider. The End-of-Season Celebration on Saturday, October 31, has a bonfire, a flashlight corn maze, cider donuts, hot cider and s'mores. Admission for both was still to be announced.
When is the market open?
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. It is closed Wednesdays and Sundays. The farm makes its own fresh-pressed cider, donuts and apple butter.
